Start of the game
Caribbean Stud Poker starts as soon as each player has put in his or her ante. The dealer then asks you to stop betting. The dealer deals each player five cards face down. Then the dealer deals his or her own hand, also face down. The dealer then turns over the last card, after which the players have the option to bet or stand.
Although players only play against the dealer, players do not have the option to look at the other players’ cards. They cannot and may not discuss these with each other. When a player folds, his or her ante is seized. Should the player decide to call, the ante must be doubled.
The dealer reveals his or her hole card after each player has decided to pass or call. In order to play, the dealer must have at least one Ace / King combination. As soon as a player beats the dealer’s hand, that player is paid. The payout is the equal amount of the ante.
